This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Amazing view from cozy house!

Cozy old house from 1909. Fantastic view that simply MUST be experienced. Located in peaceful surroundings. HOWEVER THERE IS BUILDING ABOVE THE HOUSE The house has a small entrance hall, kitchen, dining room and living room. In the attic are 2 bedrooms. A SMALL TOILET WITHOUT A BATH/SHOWER! Folding mattress 150 wide, out in the attic. For those who want a cozy place, but can do without comfort. Rummelig bolig med fantastisk udsigt

Boligen egner sig bedst til to voksne og to børn. Køkken-alrum har skøn udsigt. Mulighed for at sidde ude på altanen og nyde dejlige dage og aftener. Gæsterne kan bruge rummeligt køkken-alrum, fjernsynsstue, altan ud fra stuen med havemøbler og udsigt til hav og natur, et badeværelse, et lille toilet og vaskerum med vaskemaskine og tørretumbler, soveværelse til et par og et børneværelse. Området er stille og roligt. Tæt på supermarked. 15 min. kørsel til Torshavn via undersøisk tunnel.

Vores renoverede lille hus ligger centralt på Færøerne, med kun 20 min. kørsel til Torshavn gennem den undersøiske tunnel. Strendur er en stille landsby, ved Færøernes længste fjord. Jeg elsker stedet på grund af udsigten, atmosfæren og beliggenheden. Min bolig er god til par, eventyrere, forretningsrejsende og familier. Nyd freden, udsigten og omgivelserne i denne centralt beliggende bolig. Supermarket, pizzaria, thaifood, fodboldbane, legeplads mm. er indenfor 10 min. gå-afstand.

Stay in a 140+ year-old Faroese home full of character and history. This is my personal home, and it offers the cozy cottage atmosphere. Tucked away without car access, the house features low ceilings, artistic details, and a lived-in charm. It’s a place to slow down, unwind, and experience a more personal and authentic side of the Faroe Islands. Best suited for guests who appreciate authentic, lived-in spaces with personality rather than polished hotel-style accommodations.

Modern Boathouse With Spa

Boathouse in Leirvík with spa Welcome to our modern boathouse with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. The Area The house is located by the marina in Leirvík. It is a peaceful place close to a grocery, restaurant, a bowling alley, a shop with local craft, art and boat museum, and also Viking ruins. There are good conditions for fishing and fishing gear is available. There is free parking, Wi-Fi and cable TV.

Cosy cottage next to the ocean facing the fiord

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Blue boathouse in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands

Experience this newly built boathouse located right by the seafront and only 100 m from a grocery store, local bakery/cafe, public svimming/spa hall and public busses. The boathouse is 50 m2 + a loft equipped with all modern conveniences. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom and the main area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a sofa area with a TV that has access to several channels and wifi.

Cozy boathouse by the sea

Great location on the beach. Located in a peaceful area with sand/stone beach and private dock. On the beach, children can play and catch crabs. Old boathouse from the first in the 20th century, which has been converted into an apartment. Completly rebuilt in 2020. Boat and washer/dryer are in the basement (Neyst)

Small cozy rental unit in Strendur Centre

A cozy basement apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and living room with a sofa bed. Just 2 minutes’ walk to the grocery store, bus stop, pizzeria, and Thai food. With the subsea tunnel, it’s just over 15 minutes drive to Tórshavn and about 5 minutes drive to Runavík.

Slap af i denne hyggelige lille bolig. Du har masser af dejlig natur lige udenfor døren. Der er rig mulighed for at se får og gæs der hører til bondegården. Dertil er der rigt fugleliv på søen lige foran altanen. Lejligheden ligger i et stille landbrugsområde.
