Suffolk Coastal : locations de vacances avec accès à la plage

I booked at short notice to take my adult daughter away for three nights whilst recovering from minor surgery. I was looking for a great location with a coastal view, comfortable accommodation, with short scenic walks and nearby shops to self cater. Andrew and Sam’s place was absolutely perfect. The balcony with the view of the estuary with changing tides and being south facing so having sunshine most of the day, when the clouds passed, was great. Being tucked slightly back meant it was sheltered from any wind, so warm even if not sunny. Andrew and Sam accommodated an early check in, which we really appreciated. Communication throughout was excellent and friendly, and instructions clear. Whilst the garage is described as being for smaller cars I managed to park my Suzuki Vitara with my wing mirrors in and a bit of guidance from my daughter. The apartment was very clean, beds very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We definitely recommend this accommodation

First time stayed in this property. Really nice place. Have stayed in a few in Southwold. I needed a ground floor property as I have mobility issues. There are 2 steps at front door but there is a small handrail. For me personally it could have been extended on the rest of the wall or what is there longer . And one step indoors up the hallway But would love to go back to this property Had everything you needed and more. I would certainly stay again.

Trevor’s place is everything an Airbnb should be. The apartment is cute and cosy. The big window and view from the living room were amazing. The photos do not do it justice. Trevor was a great host. He was very responsive, resolved issues quickly and was flexible. The location is great, close to the pubs and the water. We hope to stay again.

The Old School Room was simply perfect! Everything we needed was provided, the apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. We felt so at home and super comfortable. Upon arrival, Mike was extremely welcoming and Judith was very quick to respond to our messages. The apartment is very well located on a peaceful road overlooking the sea. All in all, an absolute gem of an Airbnb!!

Stayed in this lovely loft for a few days on a trip to Southend. Felt very homely and had everything we could have needed. Great that the tv was all set up with the apps and easy to watch all the streaming services, and games and books available if we fancied a night in. Cupboard was stocked with essentials for cooking and the coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

Lovely place to stay. Nicola and Richard were really friendly and helpful. The place was a perfect location. With lots of shops and places to eat close by. Would highly recommend.

Excellent communication and instructions throughout. The apartment was as described, if not better, and absolutely perfect for a couple days on the beautiful Norfolk coast. It was comfortable, clean, welcoming, well equipped and lovely to be so close to the beach. Thank you

Great place for a long weekend in Suffolk. Location was amazing, and plenty of space for our group of 7. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Ian’s place with my partner and 3 children for 1 night. Ian was really helpful with questions I had asked, replying instantly. I was looking for a place that was clean and not grubby as my 14 month old is crawling and the photos looked great but also the reviews were key for me to picking this place. The house was a stunning place to spend a few days. We had our 3 kids with us ages 3 and 6. They had fun just tearing around the courtyard but we also were able to walk to the beautiful beach. The house was spotless and perfect for our needs. The kings arms opposite does a great plate of food and was really kid and dog friendly. We had a great stay and we’ll be back!

The Mizzen is peaceful, very spacious and extremely well located to enjoy all the many treats Southwold has in store.

Very nice house to stay in … with everything a large group would need for a relaxing stay … the garden is lovely with wonderful view of the beach which is accessible about 50m up the road …there is ample parking .. the hosts are very friendly… good communication … would definitely recommend 👍🏻

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The house is enormous yet homely, beautifully appointed and with the most breathtaking views. The pool and spa are an added bonus and the path down to the beach / estuary is gorgeous. All in all an absolutely fabulous place and we will be back. Thank you xxx

Lovely stay in Felixstowe - This place is perfectly located next to the seaside and very easy to find. It had everything we needed and the hosts were very accommodating for us and our toddler with stair gates, cot and high chair all provided. The hosts were very communicative and provided all the instructions we needed to make our stay as smooth as possible! We will definitely be visiting again

Wow! it's the easiest way to describe our whole stay. The apartment was fantastic, from the moment you stepped in, it felt like home. A place to unwind and relax. Everything is placed in such a lovely way that it feels like you put it there yourself it genuinely felt like our own home. The view from the balcony was incredible. Being able to sit there and drink a coffee looking out over the ocean was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again for another get away!! Thank you to Mark and Maxine for hosting such a fabulous apartment!

Sam’s place is at a fantastic location with everything within a short walk. The bed was probably the comfiest I have ever slept in. The place was spacious and stylish and had everything we needed. Would stay again and would recommend!

Great location for us visiting family nearby. Little peace of paradise. Tucked away overlooking a beautiful garden. Carole was a great host, cottage was very welcoming. Clean, warm and cosy. We only stayed one night sadly but could have easily stayed longer. Slept so well in the comfy bed. Would definitely book again.

Had a great stay at Katy’s space. Everything was clean, comfortable and matched the description and we enjoyed the goodies Katy stocked the kitchen with to get us going! Great location - very close to everything we needed. If I was ever in Walton or Essex again would be happy to stay again. Communicating with Katy was very easy and she was happy to help with any questions!

I am a heavy travellers . I stayed so many places before. Hotels or flats. Aniesha’s flat is like a five star hotel suite! Very modern and stylish. The building is only 1.5years old. Very clean and the location is very convenient just in front of railway station and near supermarket and shopping center. Lots of restaurants nearby. It makes me feel like home. Thank you Aniesha! Aniesha is a very nice host. I already look forward to coming back again! Wish a merry Christmas and Happy new year.

Me and my wife stayed here for New Year’s Eve. We wanted. Change from the house party vibe, and stumbled across this lovely place. Annetta is a lovely host, very friendly and was happy to help if needed. We enjoyed the location, such a wonderful house surrounded by countryside. The jacuzzi was amazing! We looked at the stars while sipping champagne from our wedding a few months back. What more do you want! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality Annetta! All the best Luke & Addie x

we love it here and have been lucky enough to come here a couple of times now. this will forever be our favourite place to stay in Winterton (or anywhere!) it's immaculate, well equipped, comfortable, perfect for my small dogs, Elaine is absolutely fabulous and very welcoming and helpful. I honestly cannot recommend Sea Mist enough. We had the best weekend again.

We had a wonderful long Easter weekend at this apartment, booked easily even though it was very last minute due to being let down by another owner. Thank you to Caroline for being so helpful and super responsive. The location is perfect to explore Felixstowe on foot and it’s handy having private off-road parking. We played mini-golf, ate out at some great spots, used the huge park down the road, went to the arcades on the pier and swam at the leisure centre just across the road. The space is beautiful, spacious, clean and we had everything that we needed, and more. Clear instructions and helpful information on the pre-arrival details too. Our daughters didn’t want to leave! We’d love to return again.
