You can meander into the Yellowwood forest; keen birders can seek the Narina Trogen or Crowned eagle - or any of the 153 listed bird species, hikers can adventure any of 4 hiking trails, cavers can visit the well known Bats Cave, and the stressed can visit the Buzz Box, or you can just relax in total peace.

Ironstone Cottage

Fully self catering, 2 bedroom farm cottage, 1 double bed, 1 king bed/twin, each with en suite bathroom. Plunge pool, firepit, Wifi, aircon, indoor fireplace, barbecue. Linen & towels provided. 4x4 or high clearance strongly advised PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. Electric blankets, blankets, duvets, hot water bottles are provided and each house has a fireplace.

The Tradesman

The Tradesman Shop is a quirky and historic unit with a beautiful courtyard and braai area. It is the last Tradesman shop that is still connected to the main house and dates from the 1850’s. It’s still has the original “brakdakkie”-ceiling so don’t get a fright when a piece of historic dust comes loose from the ceiling. The large courtyard at the back is a treat. Please note the unit operates on a gas geyser.

The Karoo Glamping Dome
