Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

Channel your inner Mark Twain. Read, rock, and relax on the water, at the foot of a retired Northern Pacific Ore dock. The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Friends become family here. Come and become a part of the Griffin’s story!

Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

Welcome to the Blue Heron on Dowling Lake. We are 25 mins from downtown Superior / 40 mins to Duluth. Our newly remodeled cabin is a great place to relax and recharge. Bring your boat, there is a private dock and the fishing is great! Enjoy the 2 kayaks and canoe, go for a swim or toss some horseshoes. After playing in the lake all day take an outdoor shower.. there is nothing like it! Then sit by the fire pit and enjoy the view. Make some memories, that's what lake life is all about!

Enjoy the fireplace, foosball, books, and games. Go fish at the boat launch down the hill. Bring your ATV! We’d LOVE to host your getaway!

Welcome to the Bergen Lake Barndo, your Up North lake getaway! Our barndominum is located on a private lake 30 minutes north of Duluth. The apartment includes a king and queen bed loft, full and half bath, full-size kitchen, outdoor fire pit, private dock, multiple outdoor lounge areas, grill, Wi-Fi, Smart TV and more. Enjoy a stay at the Studio Apartment in our detached garage located in our driveway. Relax on the small patio with outdoor furniture and gas fireplace. In the summer, you will find a picnic table near the apartment to enjoy meals outdoors. Launch your boat, kayak, or canoe at the nearby boat launch and explore the river! Park your boat at our dock during your stay. We highly recommend AWD for winter guests.
