We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of trails. Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Blue Ridge Highway, Smith Mountain Lake, James River, wineries, breweries, shopping are close by. 18 min to Roanoke College and 40 minutes to Virginia Tech. Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. A beautiful historical home, walking distance to everything. The Bnb unit is one whole side of an 1835 side-by-side duplex with private entrance and patio. The main rental is set up for four with two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) with 1.5 baths. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom may be added upon request for additional fee to accommodate up to 6 people. Comfortably furnished with fully outfitted kitchen and cotton linens. All bedrooms are up stairs.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

The Cottage on Edgar Drive

The Cottage on Edgar Drive contains 1200 square feet with two very large bedrooms on each end and a central living/dining/cooking area. Both bedrooms have closet space and full bathrooms. Enjoy coffee and refreshments on the screened-in porch. The cottage is within walking distance of downtown Lewisburg's shops and restaurants, and is also conveniently located to other area attractions. The owner lives in the main house and enjoys sharing her collections with guests.
