Lots of greenery and the perfect cosy perch amidst it all - that is what our stay at illuri farms was about. The cottages themselves are comfortable, well equipped (functional kitchen, hot water, refrigerator, ac for hot months) and oodles of privacy. Greatly recommend this. Location is very easy to find and still offers that secluded feel. Well serviced by online delivery and also close by to lot of things to do. There actually are a few folks staying for longer duration, a year as well! Lastly the people you interact with are fabulous…Poonam & Srikant, family and the beagles are around there if you feel like conversing and also afford you the privacy that you want. Absolutely loved the impromptu bonfire that we got invited to and totally enjoyed it. Perfect rating 5 for what we usually look for…a peaceful few days to ourselves. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The stay was really comfortable and intimate. The location and surroundings were absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Caretaker Siby was really helpful and responsive with whatever help we needed. Overall experience was good.

Stayed here for two nights and had an amazing experience! Stephen and Anupa are wonderful hosts — their hospitality and warmth made our stay truly special. it was a great experience and it's such a beautiful property for a group of friends or family, Kathryn fall is walkable from here and such a bliss environment. mornings are welcomed by birds chirping and some delicious breakfast. go here for more than 4,5 days and make it your home. very thoughtful architecture of the house, the backside huuge balcony is a great plus and I could spend hours just chilling there. one of the best places I have stayed

Had a great stay. Veena was very responsive and the caretaker was quite helpful. the caretaker arranged everything properly from bonefire to kitech utensils and helping with getting a few last minute groceries from nearby shop. Overall, we had a blast. Highly recommended

This place is a very good weekend getaway for a nature lover which is away from noise and pollution. Surrounded by lush greenery and close to Thattekad bird sanctuary, it is a haven for birds and our kids enjoyed watching them and listening to their sound . The natural pool is a refreshing escape and is free of chemicals. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a homely atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with anything you may need. Overall, Joseph Sir has created a space which is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a tranquil vacation in a serene environment.

Stayed for couple of days with a bunch of friends. The entire property is beautiful and has lovely surroundings. Highly walkable and one can explore Kookal on foot. The food was quite homely and delicious. The caretaker ensured that all are needs were met.

Our stay at Wild Breeze Homestay was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed a spacious area perfect for our furry friends, a refreshing pool to cool off in, and a range of games including foosball, billiards, and even a small basketball pit. Prashanti, our host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the entire process from booking to checkout feel seamless and like home. The staff were always on hand, ready to help with anything we needed during our visit. This homestay is a fantastic private getaway for anyone looking for peace and great amenities. We had a wonderful stay at Numman’s Hornbill house! The farmhouse was clean and caretakers provided us with everything we needed, including good meals and BBQ. Numman was very accommodating and ensured that our stay was comfortable. The pets were very friendly and the greenery around made our trip even more enjoyable. We appreciated the quick responses and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this property!

A perfect getaway ! The place is gorgeous and very well maintained. The interior is beautifully decorated and has a lot of classic wooden theme. It's fully equipped with everything you need like games, art and open space. The surrounding is full of canals, water streams and greenery all around. The food was also great and staff was super friendly. Rooms were clean, cozy and had all the amenities. Jaggruthi was an outstanding host and made sure our stay was amazing and without any hiccups. Tucked away amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, the home is thoughtfully done up with the charm of a classic South Indian home. Waking up to birdsong, sipping coffee under the passion fruit vines growing over the roof, and watching the sunrise with our indie dogs by our side—these are memories we’ll hold on to for a long time. The caretaker, Venkatesh welcomed our dogs like family, and was superhelpful in getting us food and other essentials. The open spaces around the home were perfect for long walks and sniffaris. Every corner of the house radiates warmth, love, and calm—an aesthetic treat and a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful, and pet-friendly escape. This property has a great view from the top. The location is very serene. Rajalakshmi Mam was very friendly and helpful in all aspects. We felt like we had a trip to our parents home in native. She proactively took care of all our needs and guiding us throughout the stay. Kids loved playing indoor games with Sir and Mam. The breakfast served by mam in her home was awesome. The places and food options suggested by Mam was very good. We will remember this trip for ever. Those who want a family leisure trip to Yercaud and unwind, I would strongly recommend this property.

Anilal is an amazing host! We truly enjoyed our stay at his hut. He is super friendly and was always available and responsive to any requests we had. He helped us arrange various activities and prepared delicious dinners for us! Anilal also gave us a tour of his farm and treated us to a fresh coconut, just cut from one of his palms. When we visited the local temple, he came along with us and kindly showed us around and introduce us to his friends, making the experience even more special. We also had the pleasure of meeting his lovely wife and daughter and shared a great conversation with them. If you're looking for a genuine local experience, I highly recommend staying at Anilal’s place. He’ll make you feel like part of his family! Peaceful, clean and very kind homestay. Healthy meals. Beautiful views. Kids friendly. Very knowledgable hosts. Daily yoga sessions before breakfast for our children. Nice tips for excursions around the area. Authentic experience, much better than what a resort can offer (however, day trips to the nearby resorts can also be arranged). Nothing we missed!

We group of 5 friends had a great pleasant and calm stay at Yonu’s place. The house has a lot of space , all utensils for cooking and extra beds for all the members. A great spot at Kotagiri and you will get all shops, top bakery like Moody’s, markets and Elite shops within just 2km range.

One of the best Airbnb’s I have had a chance to live in. The hosts make sure you feel like home right away. From the moment I made the booking, Smitha had shared every possible detail regarding the property, how to reach, recommended places and so on. She was also super responsive whenever we needed any clarification with any query. When we reached the property, Mr Biju made sure that we settled right in. Starting off with welcome drinks, the way he gave us a tour of the house and made sure we know our way around the house. The house in itself is very well designed and feels like a proper home. The breakfast was amazing as well. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend the same. Lastly, I was travelling with 2 dogs and the experience was seamless. Very rare to find such experiences when travelling with pets so I would like to thank them for the same as well.

Vishnu ji hosted me and my family with absolute generosity and respect. His place matches the description completely but what does not get captured is how he and his family make special attempts to make you feel at home. They are kind, considerate and welcoming. The village has a certain rustic charm to it with super friendly villagers who were up for a quick chat on most days. We had been on the move for close to a month in Kerala, and this was the first place that lived up to the kind of experience one expects from a homestay. If you are looking for medium to long stay, you won't be disappointed. The place has an easy, laid back vibe and in terms of hospitality, you are in good hands.
