Our stay at Clayfingers was wonderful. The hosts and helpers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely exceptional, a real highlight of our visit. Every meal was made with love and creativity. Breakfast is complimentary. The price for lunch / dinner was 500 rupees per each meal , per person. It’s also possible to purchase drinks and snacks for an extra fee. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the stunning garden, a peaceful oasis. Unfortunately we didn't have time for a pottery class, but it's definitely something we'd love to try on a future visit. One suggestion for the future would be to offer a filtered water refill station, reducing the need for single-use plastic bottles. This would align perfectly with the guesthouse's beautiful, natural setting and contribute to a more sustainable experience. Overall, we highly recommend Clayfingers for a relaxing and memorable stay. We look forward to returning

We stayed at Ayushkamy for three weeks and had the most relaxing, rejuvenating time. Vinod was a wonderful host and runs the place with an ethos of integrity, care and respect for all beings. He has created a lush, green paradise that you can't help but feel nourished by. The planting is really beautiful with many coconut palms and stunning plants and flowers allowing soft shade from the sun. Similarly the layout of the site is very well designed, the little huts arranged so that it feels both intimate but private and each has it's own view over the sparkling lake. The highlights of the days for me were the yoga classes every morning on the mats under the palms lead by Vinod, watching small fishing boats out on the lake and white herons, eagles and kites etc doing their own fishing and the beautiful staff who fed us lovely healthy food each day and we're all so warm, welcoming and delightful. Thank you so much Vinod and everyone, we loved our stay and hope to come back soon! 🙏🏻😊

I had a wonderful two-day stay at this beautiful property. The location is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and a private beach that made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The property itself is well-maintained, offering both comfort and privacy. A special mention to Robin, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was delicious and added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a serene escape with great hospitality, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

What Sarah and Morden have built is very impressive and Sarah a brilliant cook. Clean lodge with wildlife surrounding - great bird (and monkey) watching. Just be aware location is very remote (as mentioned) and can get a bit cold at night. But hosts went above and beyond - giving us lifts and organising transport. Glad to be supporting all the work they do for stray dogs!

A stay here is not just a vacation, it’s a soulful experience, one that lingers in your heart long after you’ve left. If you’re seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of magic, this cottage in Kodaikanal is the place to be. Ramdev is an excellent host. Also don’t miss the cats ( Grumpy, Tina & Tom) They also provide excellent homely food. Overall a very beautiful cottage in the midst of pear orchard.

It was a lovely peaceful place to spend time with friends. We went as a group of 12 and we enjoyed our time there without any hassle. Special appreciation to the caretaker who was very helpful in guiding us and helping us. The food that was served was also very good. The small dining area outdoor is a great place to hang out. Small inconvenience was the map location pointed us to somewhere random and we had trouble reaching out to the landlord because of no signal, had to depend on locals. The rooms are not interconnected, almost like 4 different properties.

we stayed in this place for 2 days. initially we had thought of exploring kotagiri side. we had booked a cab who ditched us half way and we contacted host and they arranged a cab for us immediately. We got picked in time. And dinner was served at room. Breakfast is complimentary with stay and it's delicious and tasty. We loved our stay overall. Definitely will visit again. Really cooperative staff and very helpful.

We had a pleasant stay at Ibex. The location of the property, away from the main road, was the highlight. The road and surroundings leading to Ibex was beautiful. There is a nice waterfall at walking distance from the property, which was again a highlight. The property in itself is very small, but our room was clean and well appointed with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the delicious food cooked by the chef, although the pricing for it was a tad high. Overall all, I would recommend this stay.

This trip was a gift for my daughter’s birthday. This place didn’t disappoint at all. Great location, excellent food, very friendly staff. We felt right at home the moment we stepped in.Absolutely peaceful and serene environment ,far away from city traffic and chaos. Top highlights of this place would be: Cottage, walk near the lake, food. Definitely on my list to re-visit.

The stay at Whispering Waters was amazing - away from hustle bustle of the city - surrounded by the nature’s beauty -cloudy forests with a waterfall view. This perfectly describe what Kodaikanal has to offer and getting it at a single place is a bliss. Accompanied by the hospitality from host and staff is truly amazing- very helpful, supportive, responsive and have a positive attitude to maintain the property and attend the guests. Food had been too good and just finger licking - awesome preparation and homely way of serving the food just doubles up the experience! Must recommended place in Kodaikanal to stay

Had a great time staying at Casa de Damo. The property is very well maintained. The caretaker Mr. Suresh and his family tended to us in the warmest and most wholesome way. The property exactly like it is described and shown in the images. The view from the solid glass window is extremely mesmerising. Bonus: Wake up in the morning to experience the breathtaking sunrise. P.S. I wish I could stay longer if I had the time. Definitely coming back again!!!

Beautiful stay nestled among tea plantations. You can watch the beautiful sunset on the way to the homestay. Great cozy stay, made even better by the wonderful food we had at the Airbnb itself. Lixon helped us out with all the local travel and recommendations and made for a great stay overall. Highly recommended!

Heartland Cottages offers a truly magical experience. The multi-room cottage, accessible via a winding staircase, had stunning views, a cozy dining area, and a serene outdoor space perfect for bonfires and admiring the nearby waterfall. The location, just outside Munnar, provides easy access to the area's attractions while offering picturesque drives. The owners and property manager's' warm hospitality and helpfulness, combined with the adorable resident dog, Jimmy, further enhance the stay. While the washrooms might need some attention, especially during the rainy season, the overall experience at Heartland Cottages is exceptional and highly recommended.

Manajaly Backwater Resort is a wonderful place to stay! It's VERY clean and quiet, and the view of the backwaters is stunning. Bird life abounds; so if, like me, you wish to be awakened by bird song, this is the place for you. Boat rides are easily available and provide glimpses of the wonderful scenery all around. There is an excellent taxi service available -- ask for either Nias or Ajmal. Both men are extremely knowledgeable about the area and will take good care of you. Praveen's assistant Chandra is a sweet, fantastic guy! He's very smart and efficient, and will provide you with everything you need. I had an excellent time. Monsoon Retreat is situated amidst cardamom, banana and pepper plantation and this is a great location, specially for bird watching. There is 'Green Park' spice plantation and Ayurvedic hospital /massage clinic nearby and both are excellent. The location is ideal for safari to Periyar Tiger reserve. Subish is a great host, offering local tips and quick to arrange trips, including transport. The entire team at Monsoon Retreat is very welcoming and puts in extra effort to make the guests comfortable. We would definitely visit the place again and recommend it for nature lovers looking for a relaxing stay.
