This is a charming chalet style property with a lovely view. Grant is a really accommodating host. It's really clean and comfortable and a powerful shower. The location is really peaceful and it is a great place to chill out. Ideally located for the Doubtful Sound cruises and 20 mins from Te Anau. On the road to Te Anau you can pick up the Kepler Track (it's signposted off the main road), a lovely forest walk with a suspension bridge. We also rated Redcliff for food in Te Anau

Perfect little house with indeed big view. We only stayed 2 days but could have spend more time. Directly opposite the lake, many tracks accessible and gateway to doubtful sound which was amazing. The house was phenomenal Anna had everything !!! Very good place

Great location, close to everything, quiet neighbourhood, warm house, we had an excellent time with the whānau. Plus Te Anau is such a great location, there is so much to do in this part of the country. We went on the Doubtful Sound cruise - recommended :-)

This was the perfect base for us (3 adults). There was plenty of space, and the place itself is super cozy. We could walk to town when we needed which was great. The heating worked great so we never felt cold. Thank you Anna!

We had a great stay! The location is excellent for visiting Milford Sound. The living room was even better than the photos, with a cozy setup and a nice TV for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Would definitely recommend this spot to other travelers.

After arriving in Te Anau in the pouring rain, it was a relief to be able to check in to Julian’s beautiful property, which is set in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Lake Te Anau is at the end of the street and affords a beautiful relaxing walk into town or a place to just sit and take in the views. We put the washing machine and dryer to good use straight away, turned the heaters on and proceeded to relax on the comfy modular lounge for the rest of the day/night as it was too wet to go back out for dinner. The living area is nice and spacious, the views from the living area are just beautiful, kitchen has everything you could need if you wanted to cook, there’s a huge dining table for 8, bedrooms are a good size, comfortable bed, nice hot shower and a lovely outdoor deck and gardens. Communication with Julian was 10/10 and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a fantastic stay! Justine kindly allowed us an early check-in so our little one could have his daily nap. The place was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was great, and the host was friendly and helpful. And that stunning view 😍 Highly recommend!

This bnb had what we needed for our quick couple days in Te Anau. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items and the living room has plenty of seating. While I’m not taking full stars off for these items be forewarned that the bathroom is TINY. The sink is very difficult to use because of its size and water gets everywhere. It wasn’t a big problem for 2 nights but be aware if you’re doing an extended stay. The other item of note was that the single washer/dryer unit was almost constantly in use. We ended up having to take time to just stand near the door to get our clothes in queue.

Perfect home base for exploring Te Anau! Very comfortable and great location. It was also nice to do be able to do laundry after completing the Kepler Track!

We had a great stay. The units were as described and clean. We booked 2 adjoining properties with an interconnecting door and this worked well for the size of our group. We also received helpful and prompt communication with enquiries that we had.

We really enjoyed our stay here: it is walkable to a beautiful path along the water (across the street), was very clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. The small fridge was apparently broken before we arrived and Justine went out of the way to procure a replacement before we arrived, which was appreciated. We would recommend this property!

It was a great stay. Very comfortable and cosy home. Lots of space. Good heating and lights. Host was reachable even at late evening and helped us in best possible way. Definitely recommended for family stay.

Pam’s place was so clean and beautiful and when you are here please take advantage and look up at the stars! It was the most beautiful thing we have ever seen, but what makes this place so special was Pam and, of course, Star! Pam went out of her way for us in so many ways. And Star gave us all the love we have been missing from our dog back at home. Without a doubt the best hosts we’ve had and they made us feel right at home.

Cute cottage, very clean and well-maintained. We loved the thoughtful kitchen items, washing powder and also beer! Good location, convenient to the main street etc.

Great place to stay. We had stayed at Brian’s place and traveled to Milford sound. Close to the town centre. Very close to the lake and great views to wake up to.
