Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Thank you for our lovely weekend away

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

What a stunning location. The climb down (but more importantly, the climb up!) is worth it. Loved being so close to the sea with such a wonderful view. the cabin is very comfortable and warm with an impressively well-stocked kitchen: plenty of crockery and cutlery; there is even a waffle maker! Be warned that the closest beach is a steep climb down (and back up - 180 steps plus a long steep slope) so be prepared for that. We were certainly fitter by the end of the week. We didn’t venture off too much - I preferred to sit outside and appreciated having 3 different seating areas to choose from. We used the hot tub nearly every night, with some wonderful sunsets and clear starry nights. The Halfway House at Polbathic served a great Sunday lunch (don’t confuse it with the one at Kingsand like we did - happens all the time apparently!) and Room Smiths and Player Ready in Plymouth kept our boys entertained when the rain was lashing down (we took the ferry over from Torpoint).

What an amazing place - everything is as described on the listing. Nathan was super helpful, informative and talked us through how to use everything in the cabin and get the hot tub up to temperature. We did the circular walk mentioned - it’s a good 3 miler with enough up downs to make your pint/s at the half way point well earned! We were blessed with beautiful weather, but imagine on a stormy day it would be just as lovely - all hunkered down inside listening to some old school vinyl.

We had such a lovely relaxing time at Kingfisher Lodge. Phil & Marshella were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the hot tub so enjoyable especially at night with the lights. My husband enjoyed the fishing, caught a carp weighing get around 28llbs i think, he was so chuffed. would definitely recommend and would stay again Thank you again Julie & Sean

We loved our stay at the old chicken house!! The house itself is beautiful and even better than the pictures, it’s so peaceful and we felt at home right away! George and the other co hosts had very kindly put up a birthday banner as we were staying to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and provided some lovely breakfast bits which added to the welcoming feel of the house! We stayed with our Labrador -Maggie and there were lots of great walks nearby, she particularly enjoyed the woodland walk by Otterhead lakes! The perfect relaxing escape! We didn’t want to leave!!

WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

lovely people, beautiful setting and enjoyed the local walks from the door. safe space for my dog in the enclosed garden. plenty of logs supplied for the woodburner. A very relaxing place to stay. would recommend to others.

Just returned from a wonderfully, peaceful and relaxing stay, the location of the property is great, the views were spectacular, the hosts gave us all the information we needed and the property was exactly as the pictures showed and better, The property was very private a spotlessly clean, it was a great place to take our dog with many country side walks nearby Cannot recommend this property enough

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

We have been coming to Whitsands for many years and this was by far the best chalet that we have stayed in. The chalet surpassed our all our expectations. The photos had not done justice to the beautiful garden. It is like no other garden on the cliff! We were lucky enough to have good weather and some amazing sunsets during our stay but even in the rain we would have enjoyed this wonderful chalet. Thank you so much Freya

Such an idyllic stay, with peaceful surroundings. Judith and James were so friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and friendly advice. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway!

The Nest is absolutely delightful, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Views from the comfortable deck are stunning, as are the sunsets. Amenities inside are of great quality, especially the comfy beds, beautiful linens, powerful shower, fluffy towels, fragrant toiletries, and full kitchen. Everything you could need has been thought of by the lovely host, and many little treats besides. We walked down the pretty lanes into Modbury to eat Sunday lunch at the Exeter Inn and brunch at The Curator. Secret local beaches are fabulous, as well as easy access to the larger well known places. We arrived home relaxed and with fond memories of a gorgeous stay.

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had an absolutely brilliant stay in Halwell! Lynne & Neil were the perfect hosts, recommending walks and days out, on hand when we needed them and excellent communication throughout - and the cabin and it's surroundings are beautiful. Slow mornings on the terrace listening to the birds were just what we needed, thank you for being so wonderful. We will certainly be back!

Not luxury but perfect for an overnight stop and everything was exactly as described hence worth the five stars. Delighted to meet the cat.

Me, my wife and our little dog have had the most relaxing of breaks at Birch lodge. in addition we have not felt as comfortable as we did at a rental accommodation in many a year. Peace, space, time and comfort... what more could we ask for. 10/10!

Great place for a short stay with easy access to Dartmoor, local pubs all on the doorstep and shops in Okehampton only a short drive away. Very tidy and quietly located property.

Wonderful cabin with everything we needed, comfortable bed, good kitchen to cook in, great location and so peaceful. Perfect for us and our to dogs with lovely walks on our doorstep. Hosts very friendly and informative. Easy to visit Wellington and surrounding areas too. Well done.

We spent a lovely weekend over the bank holiday staying in one of the 'Dartmoor Reach' cabins. The cabin itself wasn't very big, but it was cosy and had all the essentials. We found some board games and reading materials, too, which was a lovely addition, however, we didn't have time to try those out, as the weather was amazing and there was plenty to do on the farm anyways (especially, for kids): feed the alpacas & other farm animals, go on the "fairy door" hunt, jump on the trampoline, and etc. And it was so nice to always wake up with a lovely view of the Alpaca field. Our hosts, Josh and Natalia, were very friendly and always accessible. For a reasonable price, they provided us with a lovely breakfast hamper and some delicious items in there. Also, you can buy some sausages, bacon, eggs, Alpaca food etc., in their "honesty shop" - just bring some cash with you. Thank you, Josh and Natalia, for being so welcoming, helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay here.
