Very quiet and peaceful location - the only thing you will hear at night is the owls hooting! Miles of beautiful walks are on the doorstep, and we are also short drive from the Ridgeway. English Country Cottage

An ultimate English cottage with nearby Highclere Castle a 10 minute drive away. Lovely walks and pubs nearby and shopping in Newbury town centre. A lovely retreat for couples, friends, artists, writers, and those just looking for a peaceful getaway. The cottage is NOT suitable for children under 12 years of age because of the spiral staircase and pond. NO pets because we have severe allergies. The have fibre optic WiFi, so most of the time it’s brilliant. ***The cottage has very low ceilings.
