Take a break in a rural setting. Be woken by the chickens. The one room cabin is perfect for a getaway. All the windows look out at green space. The balcony has a bench to sit and drink a coffee while listening to the birds in the trees. Close to the small villages of Kurrajong, and Blpin. A small drive to pick your own apples and the Botanical Gardens at Mount Tomah. The cabin is located close but separate to our main house, it is rare that we see our guests. It is situated beside a billabong in the Australian bush yet only an hour and ten minutes from Sydney CBD or the Blue Mountains and 7 minutes from Coles, Aldi and trendy Kurrajong Cafes. Bird life abounds ranging from the bell bird, king parrot ,dollar bird. king fisher to plenty of kookaburras. Kangaroo , wallabies, deer and goanna are neighbours.

Kurrajong Country Cabin Seperate from main home

Need a country escape??? Need a place to relax and unwind? No phone, no tv ,no distractions, just sit back and enjoy listening to nature! Our country cabin is located on acerage in the little suburb of Kurrajong a 4 minute drive to kurrajong village. It is seperate from the main house, it does not have kitchen facilities, however we offer a selection of teas, coffee, toaster and kettle. There is a list of local cafes , convenience store, local restaurants a 4 min drive from our Cabin.

The Milking Shed

The Milking Shed is a cosy cabin in the lush green hills and beautiful vistas of the Hawkesbury region north-west of Sydney. The cabin is built on the side of a hill and looks directly into a small forest of eucalypts - perfect for trying to spot one of our regular koala visitors. It is 200m past the main house on the property, and completely private. Curl up with a book, feed a donkey, pour a wine, cuddle a corgi, or sit on the deck take in the country. It is a million miles from care.

KURRAJONG Mountain View Retreat...beautiful

Picturesque views to the mountains & amazing sunsets await in this newly renovated cottage. This quaint cottage is ideal for a relaxing getaway, enjoy the pool in summer or sit around the fire pit in winter. Curl up on the lounge and relax or use this as your base to explore. Only 7 kms to Kurrajong Village, shops & cafes. There is a kitchen (no oven) an open planned living area, separate bedroom with a queen size bed and private ensuite. It is private & separated from the main house.
