What a lovely and unusual place to stay. Natasha was very kind and accommodating with our timings and all our cycling gear on our King Alfred’s Way gravel tour. Really appreciated the thoughtful touches and great communication. Sofa bed was very comfy and spacious! South Harting has some amazing food / provisions and there are some very nice looking pubs a short drive / 30min walk away… however we also managed to get Domino’s to deliver pizza when we were a bit too tired to go out in the evening so worth noting this is an option!

A relaxing weekend in a beautiful location. A real haven…. The Hayloft is beautiful. Debbie has thought of everything… the breakfast treats were a lovely surprise and very welcome. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was a dream.

Anthony was super welcoming and even gave us little extras in the fridge for our stay. Veyr very thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel so welcome and came out to talk to us when we walked our dogs on his grounds. We will definitely return as there is so much to do and a great pub around the corner which is a two min walk. The property itself is quaint, clean and spacious and was perfect for my friend and I. We got home after our break feeling refreshed and relaxed. The property has everything you could need and I whole heartedly recommend this for anyone just want to check out of the hum drum for a while. We will definitley go back!

Extremely happy with everything at this place. Kids loved the toys and enjoyed the garden. They wished they had stayed a little longer. We appreciate that there were options of breakfast included, never got that before in any other place, very kind gesture. Very cosy and spacious. Would highly recommend *****

Had a lovely stay at Caister cottage. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our accommodation was exactly as we had hoped. Lovely setting with walks straight from the house into the new forest. Easy to walk to several pubs and into Lyndhurst.

Beautiful place at the side of Jenny’s house with a small enclosed garden area, Jenny has a beautiful enclosed larger garden which she let us use as and when we wanted with sheep and horses at the end to see. The house was like being at home, comfortable beds, clean and everything you need for your stay. We stayed with 4 dogs who all enjoyed their holiday. Location is peaceful but you will need to drive to anywhere you want to go. Would definitely stay again

Excellent little spot for a night or two, was happy to stay again. And Jade's extremely lovely. The noise does carry if neighbours are in their gardens, which can be a bit disruptive at night, but that's all down to luck! Will likely stay again.

The perfect place to be able to rest for a few hours after my event, before the ferry home. Sharon was very communicative and accommodating, and I can’t thank her enough for giving me a place to stay. The studio is clean, cosy, and private. Just perfect Thank you. ❤️

Lovely short stay, perfect for what we needed and a short walk to the Harbour front was a plus. Extremely clean and lovely to be able to look out at the beautifully kept garden. We would definitely use again 😊

Spent one night here pre a mini cruise, it was very clean and cosy, a warm feel. Comfortable bed, everything you need for a brew in the morning and even breakfast and snack options if you needed something, a really delightful little gem of a place.

Emily's place is well equipped, well positioned and nicely decorated. The bedroom is light and airy. We very much appreciated the prosecco and milk left for us in the fridge. It was a shame we only had time to stay one night - it's a great spot!

I loved being in Julia’s cabin. It is a perfect little peaceful hideaway, yet within easy walking distance of the city amenities. It was indeed a comfortable cabin: compact, but with everything you might need. Sitting outside with breakfast, listening to the birds and the church bells then in the late afternoon sunshine with a drink was most enjoyable.

How often do we hear "If it looks too good to be true, it isn't true"? Well this is absolutely not the case here, because all we can do is echo all of the previous reviews that are saying what a truly fabulous place Chestnut Barn is. From the moment you pass through the gates you will be entranced by the beautiful surroundings, peace and the spotless accommodation with all the appointments that one could wish for. With the amenities of Midhurst a pleasant half hour's ramble away (why hurry?) and the delights of the West Sussex countryside on the doorstep, you are ideally placed to explore. The charming hosts Linda and Mike create a welcoming and helpful environment that complement the experience perfectly. We really thought we had visited some special Airbnb residences, but Chestnut Barn tops the lot - and more!

A 2nd stay for us at The Crest. A great location for exploring the coast. The Crest is very clean and comfortable. There's a good outside space for our spaniel. Shelley is friendly and welcoming with her messages. Thankyou! We look forward to another stay one day!

We stayed for four nights with our two teenage city kids to give them a taste of countryside life!! They loved the spacious apartment, all of the nature, birds, badger, deer and of course the kites, the warm pool, and freedom to explore the extensive grounds! A fabulous Airbnb with very generous and kind hosts.

We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable bed with good sheets and towels. The kitchen and living room space was also perfect with a table in the sun outside. Lovely aspect over the garden. The beach and village all an easy walk with further beautiful walks. We can definitely recommend as a super place to stay,

We've just had a two night stay at the Garden Room. Location is excellant for the beach and local shops, we were extremely lucky with the weather so added bonus spending some time on the lovely sandy beach. Lovely coastal walks Hengistbury head etc..nearby. The Garden Room was clean and tidy, check in and communication from Suzy and Andrew was also excellent. Would highly recommend.

A stunning home from home. Gorgeous countryside all around and a lovely enclosed private garden. The barn is beautifully decorated, with really personal touches. Breakfast and essentials provided. Comfortable and just a total delight. Anna was helpful, responsive and courteous at all times. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a great stay at Maria and Marks - thank you! The cabin was homely and comfortable and we all enjoyed the hot tub! The location is fantastic and we appreciated the recommendations Maria provided! Visiting Moors Valley and getting the ferry over the Mudeford Spit / Sandbank for the beautiful beaches were our highlights!

Arden Studio is excellent. Its very clean, tidy, well equipped and had everything we needed and is dog friendly. The pony's visited us and we saw a deer in the field. The bedroom window has a beautiful view. Peaceful location and you can hear the birds singing. Highy recommend.

Diane’s place was comfortable, clean, bright with natural light and quiet - home away from home. Had all that was required for an enjoyable stay including TV in the bedroom as well as the living room which had great resolution and access to NETFLIX and other apps; fully equipped kitchen including a upgraded washing machine. We were warmly greeted by Diane on our arrival who thoughtfully left a fresh pint of milk in the fridge and other ingredients for a much needed cuppa after a long day of travelling. Complementary tea biscuits were also included. I noted all the kid-friendly aspects of Diane’s place including built in steps in the bathroom for the lil ones to reach the lovely wash sink. Diane’s place was close to the beach and places to eat which served tasty and reasonably priced food and featured great service. Diane’s place is a must have and we shall definitely be returning. Thanks again Diane for contributing to a fantastic time away in IOW. Will highly recommend Diane’s place x

Had a great time. Great location, peaceful, private, clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Perfect! Mike and Sarah were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Brilliant location right next to the beach and a short walk to east and west wittering, or a bus to take you further afield. Fell in love with the Witterings. Highly recommended.
