This is the umbilicus of the Korean club and restaurant scene. The young, hip, handsome and beautiful congregate here and around here. The choices of restaurants, stylish shops and amazing supermarkets ripples out from here is all directions, mainly west and south. Right now (summer 2018) it has all the energy of its downtown cousins, Chinatown and Little Tokyo and it's slightly easier to get in and out of because Wilshire, Vermont, Normandie and Western Avenues are usually easy to navigate after sundown. The Korean club scene has its own rules and rituals but they are definitely not xenophobic and K-Pop is hot at the moment!
