This is a good place to start your trip. They have lots of recommendations for activities and give out free maps.

A great place to start your visit to Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding Eastern Sierras area. Lots of great knowledge about local hiking and biking trails, fishing, etc. as well as winter activities such as cross country skiing, ice skating, downhill skiing or snowboarding too!

The staff here are VERY helpful when it comes to planning an adventure or getting to know the history of the local area. Whether it's an overnight or gentle day hike; fishing, camping, mountain biking - the folks here can help.
