FREE TINY MUSEUM above City Hall that tells all about the history of Surfside which includes the Indians that used to live there and is also where the very first shot of the Texas revolution began!. It's free but lots of fun to get the feel of the area. We recommend this if you're there during the week. There is a nice little walking trail next to City Hall that you can take that will lead you back to jetty Park. Makes for a fun outing.

This is where you can fill up the 5 gallon water cooler jug for free. There is a small town museum upstairs in the city hall that you can visit for free.
