Mannum Waterfalls is one of natures outstanding sculptures. It is a popular bushwalking destination, with moderate to steep walking tracks along Reedy Creek to the falls. With very scenic views, and an abundance of wild life, along with fascinating geology this makes it a must see place for visitors to the area. Access to the falls is a walk from one of the two car parks. The first car park is on the left, which leaves a 1Km steep walk (in sections) to the falls. The second car park is situated above the falls with a short walk down to them. Toilets are available 600metres from bottom car park Good walking shoes and plenty of water are recommended. Not recommended when the weather is HOT.

If you pick the right time of year you can see the falls flowing, they tend to dry up in warmer months but it’s still a great spot to go for a hike. Note there is a top & bottom car park. The bottom car park provides a more leisurely walk to the bottom of the falls with a little more challenging terrain as you get to the falls. The top car park provides an overview of the falls with a steep descent to the falls which is more challenging when returning up the hill to your vehicle.

A glorious spot to visit in fine weather and excellent cool weather activity. Picturesque rock formations and walking trail. Nice even when dry but especially pretty after rain. Best avoided in very hot weather. Nice spot for a picnic. Take the drive towards Mannum on the Murray River and take the turn off to Mannum waterfalls car park, Caloote, ( Cascade RD) on you right once through the town of Palmer. After visiting the waterfalls it is only a short drive to the River Town of Mannum and a very pretty lawned area on the banks of the river. The local hotel has great views from its beer garden and good meals.
