The Bank of the Arts is a historic building in the heart of the charming waterfront town of New Bern, North Carolina. Originally commissioned as a bank, it now serves as the seat of arts and culture in a thriving artistic community. Changing exhibitions of various media such as painting, sculpture, photography, pottery and fiber art by artists of the southeastern United States are provided free of charge in the gallery area. Be sure to visit the Bank of the Arts Sculpture Park on the corner of Broad and Middle Street.

More than a Gallery. There are sometimes music events here. This is a Community Arts Center in what used to be a bank building. It's beautiful, don't miss it.

Operating out of a former bank building, the arts council supports rotating exhibits of art, and many are also for sale. (Full disclosure--I'm on the Board of Directors.) Fabulous art.
