Bickle Knob Observation Tower is one of our favorite sightseeing activities to do as a family. It is only a short 5 minute walk from the parking lot and offers amazing views of the mountains during sunrise and sunset. This observation area is only 5 miles away.

You will drive up a winding road that takes you to the top and there awaits a fire tower that will give you a stunning view of your surroundings. It is also a great place to see the evening stars and moon.

The drive up is a little treacherous but totally worth it. The kids loved it and ask to go back!

For the best views of the mountains, drive up to the parking lot then walk up the stairs to the top of the tower
