This is the closest Thai place. Pam offers unusual authentic dishes at reasonable prices. The ambience isn't much to speak of (strange odor) but the good is a reliable bet.

Cheap and great Thai food. There is the old one on 49/9 which is always busy (and little bit better), or a more modern one on 47/9.
