This is a great spot to stop on your way to Intag Valley.

The hike around the lake passes thru different micro-climates, with totally different vegetation. On a nice day one has fantastic views onto the 2 volcanos (Imbabura & Cotacachi), into the Intag valley and the surrounding villages and towns.
