Kachina Wetlands Preserve - Close by to the cabin (20 minute walk or 6 minute drive). It’s a great place, with ponds and easy trails occupying approximately 70 acres managed by Kachina Village Improvement District. If you are into bird watching, there have been 65 wetland-associated species identified at the sanctuary.
Enjoy the wetlands via walking, running or biking. Take your binoculars and camera! Great place to walk your dogs on a leash! Doggie poop bags available at entrance.
