Family- friendly with an EPIC playground. PLUS grills, picnic tables, volleyball court, trails, public pool, and stunning views of the Bay. This spot is one of our family's all time favorites.

This great natural area is just up High street. Redwoods, hiking, pool, playground with spectacular views of the entire bay area.

There is a string of large wilderness parks with hiking trails along the north east edge of Oakland. The closest one is called Robert's Park, which you can drive to by taking High St uphill to the T intersection & turn right. Turn left at the next T intersection, & go up the hill to another T intersection, which is Redwood Road. Take a right turn & follow all the way up the steep hill. Turn left on Skyline. Watch for the sign where Skyline turns right up another hill! Then park along the road at one of the many walking trail heads you will see from the road.
