Having provided scheduled passenger services in Cape Town for over 150 years, we are driven by a commitment to meeting the mobility needs of our passengers in a safe, reliable and sustainable manner through the application of sound business and governance practices. We currently operate 1046 buses during peak hours, serving 1300 routes, covering a total area of approximately 2460 Km² in metropolitan Cape Town. Our fleet travels 59.4 million kilometres, conveying 51.8 million passengers annually, at a rate of approximately 220 000 per week day. In a rapidly changing and dynamic public transport landscape, Golden Arrow follows a continuous improvement approach to all aspects of its operations and customer relations. The company is well positioned to continue to make a positive contribution to road based public transport in Cape Town through partnering with all stakeholders in realizing government’s vision of making transport the heartbeat of South Africa’s economic growth and social development.
