Founded by Elymians as the port of nearby Segesta, the small coastal city of Castellammare del Golfo has a pleasant harbour that is overlooked by the remains of a much-modified Saracen castle and surrounded by sandy beaches, making it a popular summer holiday destination.
Perfect place to rent or take a boat trip to the nature reserve in Zingaro. You will also find great restaurants at the port.
Wide equipped sandy beach very comfortable that offers an easy access to a blue and clean sea. Easy to find parking and restaurant nearby the beach. The sea it's stunning also during the summer season. Recommended to get there early in the morning to enjoy the beach where it is not crowded yet
To shop and do grocery is Castellammare del Golfo is cheaper than to do it in Scopello!
