It's a firm local favourite for african food and a real township authentic vibe at a good value and price. slow kitchen but you will get a real feel for the local scene.

great for food, followed by a drink, followed by music (on Thurs/Fri/Sat mostly). You'll meet interesting people here for sure, and get a more local taste of Observatory.
