One of our favorite public beach, located off of William Hilton Parkway at the end of Burkes Beach Road. Typically not crowded, plenty of space and bathrooms. Parking is good just don't choose the meter parking. Heads up that this beach isn't as easy to walk to because, unlike the bigger beaches, there is no walkway runner or boardwalk- But worth the walk..

At the end of Burkes Beach Road, you’ll find a handful of metered parking spaces and a sandy path leading out to the Burkes Beach. Great beach for bike riding too!

Right down the road from Hilton Head Resort. Burke’s Beach is right next to Chaplin Park with limiting parking. This beach is less busy than Coligny and would be great for beach walks. It also has a tidal channel that leads out into the ocean. Pay attention to the tide because the channel may not be cross able at high tide.

My favorite beach. About an hour drive but worth it (in my opinion). You can make a stop at old towne Bluffton on the way out and grab coffee & sightsee. This beach is beautiful and also has free parking! If you make the trip definitely spend the day there because Hilton Head has tons of great food by locals!
