A sheltered beach with large granite boulders famous for a colony of African Penguins who set up home here in 1982. Well worth a visit
Thousands of penguins breed freely in this small national park which is well managed with a board walk through the colony. You can actually swim with penguins on Boulders Beach, a beach which has been voted by a Canadian Tourist Survey as being 40th of 100 beast beaches in the world, for its pristine water quality, and wild life management, the only beach in South Africa to attain this recognition.
