The Municipal Market is a large public market specialized in fruits, vegetables, cereals, spices and other brazilian food. It's located in the historic center of Sao Paulo. On the first floor, there are some restaurants where you must try a mortadella sandwich and a "pastel de bacalhau" (fried pastry stuffed with salted fish).
