Gariahat is walking distance (30 mins walk, may be too much in summer). Auto and buses are frequent and without traffic takes 5 mins from Gariahat crossing to Dhakuria bridge end on the south. Gariahat is the iconic shopping district for last over 50 years. Bengalis come from all over the world to shop in Gariahat for over last 50 years. In sidewalk, you may get a real bargain if you are smart.
