Park your car down at Garie beach and head north along the well defined coastal path, enjoying views of Garie beach from above, and leading to Eagle Rock (a couple km's) where you'll find meandering streams and waterfalls that fall over the cliffs into the clear blue seas below. One word- Stunning. Take a picnic for after the walk. There are toilet facilities on site at the beach.

This is the closest surf beach. Patrolled in summer on the weekends. Always swim between the red and yellow flags.

This place is awesome if you have wheels to get there. Try walking south along the coastal track. Good surf and usually pretty quiet. You will need to buy a pass online though for your car to be able to park. Not many people head here but well worth it!

Note: Road to Garie is closed for repair. A nice ocean beach with dramatic coastline. Beach is popular for surfing though can be dangerous. Experienced surfers only recommended. It is patrolled by lifesavers on some days. Not safe for family bathing if the sea is rough.

Garie beach is located in the Royal National Park. There is a kiosk. There are some really secluded beaches near Garie such as Era and Burning Palms. These are some moderately difficult walks but are well worth the effort.
