Take a step back in time and try mead! (wine from fermented honey instead of grapes) This winery also creates many flavorful wines from numerous types of fruit grown onsite.

Very different stop in wine country, mostly because they specialize in non-grape wines and mead. 30 acres of grapes and other fruit growing on their property. In fact, some of their meads are made in 'traditional' medieval style. Their selection of beverages was very remarkable; so much so that it's impossible for me to write everything down. But I did especially enjoy the Voyage Mead (strong honey notes, made "Viking" style), Hunter's Moon spiced pumpkin Mead, and to a lesser extent the Dragon's Breath, which had a huge Jalapeno kick and tasted of pepper jack cheese.
