This is a little known jewel of a place and there are lots of trails to walk/hike around this area. You can also access it from the Campbell Airstrip Trailhead (5 min. drive up C. Airstrip Road.

Stop in for a quick (it’s small) visit at the center, ask about their trail maps (it’s big).

Small visitor center. Watch salmon spawn June - August in Campbell Creek a few yards from the parking lot.

Campbell Creak Science Center is a great place as a starting point for a hike on a selection of trails. You will hear this over and over again. Be bear and moose aware. Consider carrying bear spray.

Great local trail system through the woods. Occasionally, the views open up to the Chugach Mountains. Good for a stroll or bike in the evening or on a nice day.
