The Farmers Market is open May – September at the Marktplatz on Thursday evenings 4 – 7 pm. During Covid, hours were changed to 5 – 7 pm. If you are in town on a Thursday, be sure to buy some bread or scones from JoJu bakery. Get there early because he sells out!

If you're lucky enough to be visiting on the first weekend of the month, head in to Fredericksburg for First Friday Art Walk. Participating galleries stay open until 8pm. It's a great way to take in the best of regional artists and sometimes the artists are on-hand to discuss their work and inspiration.
