If you're a runner make sure to take a loop around the local reservoir. It's lovely. You'll see plenty of locals with dogs, but avoid the geese!

Liquor store right around the corner-- convenient but probably a little pricer especially for hard alcohol-- beer prices not bad at all. Being so close to BC, they can jack it up a bit due to demand

Literally 4 min walk to the 71 bus, which can take you to Harvard Sq (Cambridge) in about 12 minutes and it goes frequently. There is also T (subway) at Harvard Sq which connects to airport, Boston proper, etc.
