This is a lovely trail on which you can walk to Portland / Billy winters water sports. A couple of parks / very shallow beaches on the way.

The Rodwell Trail is a 3.4 km walk/cycleway along the route of the disused Weymouth to Portland Railway from the centre of Weymouth to Ferrybridge in Wyke Regis which spans the world famous Fleet Lagoon and links the Isle of Portland to the mainland. It is part of National Cycle Route 26 which extends southward to the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy, the country’s premier sailing venue and host venue for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailing events.
