Lerici and San Terenzo are great places for a day trip, with a lovely beaches, delicious fish restaurants and beautiful towns. Lerici is the larger of the two, San Terenzo around the bay is a small serene seaside village. Cars are restricted in the towns so you need to park in one of the park parks on the edge of the town. You’ll need change for the parking ticket machines - about €10 for the day. Lerici parking is closer to the beach than San Terenzo where you have to walk 5-10 minutes through the town. There are free beaches or you can rent umbrellas and beds at the beach clubs. This also gives you access to changing rooms and facilities. Scenic promenades stretches along the waterfront past gelaterias and restaurants. From Lerici town there are boats to Portovenere and the Cinque Terre.
