There are several lookouts from the rim of the gorge. You can also find several hiking trails to reach the Rio Grande River. Great place to go fishing or just seek solitude.

Stunning river views. Hiking and biking trails. Forest service lectures and campfires. Trout fishing and crawfish trapping. Wild life refuge so you can see eagle,elk, mountain goats. Star watching unlike any other place in the world.
