The Golden Lion has an extensive menu combining traditional meals with a selection of world foods. The Sunday lunch comes highly recommended but it is advisable to book first. The traditional bar (downstairs) also serves food along with a good selection of local beers and ales. There is also a restaurant upstairs. There is also outdoor seating (if you are lucky enough to visit on a warmer day) and a pool table.
