Beautiful, secluded hiking trail down into the Rio Grande Gorge. Trail ends at the confluence of the Red River and the Rio Grande. The road can become very difficult and muddy when it rains or snows melt so be sure to go on a dry day or on cold days in the winter (so the road is frozen). Taos also experiences long dry periods so it's possible the road will be fine no matter the time of year.
