Whitby is famous as the location where Bram Stoker is believed to have been inspired to pen his book on Dracula. Whatever the truth in this, the town hosts an annual Goth weekend, and Dracula is certainly on the map for some of the tourist attractions. A fun day out but perhaps not for the smaller children. The Dracula Experience is a unique tour through the Dracula story and the connection to Whitby. Using animated scenes, electronic special effects and live actors.

I think it's about £4 to get in, but as you'd expect, it's just a bit of silly seaside fun.
