Beautiful beach that is great for swimming. Walk along the top of the cliffs and down onto Pobbles. An intimate bay. 25 minutes walk from the cabin. Next to Three Cliffs Bay.

This beach reached the final of Britain's Best View. It is indeed a jewel in the crown of Gower. It is a firm favourite with the locals and when the tide is out it joins Three cliffs Bay which is pictured above. The beach is a 15 -20 minute walk from the car park in Southgate but the walk takes in some spectacular coastal views along the way. The photo you see above is taken from an old ruin of a castle built on the dunes. A magical story of fairies and curses is associated with its demise.

A secluded, peaceful and picturesque bay on the Gower. A magnificent location on a sunny day!

On a low tide this offers access to 3 cliffs bay. Pobbles bay is a lovely beach too and you can usually find a parking spot in the village (Southgate). locals will let you know how to get down to the beach but there is a cul-de-sac opposite the post office, walk to the end then there is a footpath behind a gate, it's a nice walk on mixed terrain. Careful of the tide here. it comes in fast and you can get cut off on the 3 cliffs side and it's a longer walk back to the car.

Pobbles is a little difficult to access but well worth the effort. Park at National Trust car park at Southgate or near Pennard Golf Course( Do not park in golf club) . Take foot paths down to this golden sand beach. Don’t expect to see many people!
