Great if you want to visit a historic HBCU. The campus includes a museum that houses a private collection and rotational exhibits. Additionally, there are conferences and sporting events at the Hampton Coliseum.
Visit a family member or catch a sporting event for your favorite team! a lot of the campus is built on the water!
Hampton University is a private, historically Black, research university in Hampton, Virginia. Founded in 1868 as Hampton Agricultural and Industrial School, it was established by Black and White leaders of the American Missionary Association after the American Civil War to provide education to freedmen.
