Aline community woodlands and playpark is the perfect stop off between Lewis and Harris or a morning or afternoon out! a lovely scenic walkway with picnic benches along the way. There is also a great playpark for the kiddies situated in the trees!

All ability boardwalk through woodland plus longer walk up to viewpoint. Kids playpark and a walk down to the shore. Great atmosphere during the deer rut.

Only 32 minutes drive from Stornoway you come to Aline Community Woodland. Easy wooden board walk that takes in scenic views of Lewis/Harris. There is also a good swing park for the children and toilets onsite.
