Totagamu Rajamaha Vihara Ancient temple located near Hikkaduwa and was one of ancient Buddhist School called “Vijayabha Piriwena” also this temple based on many literature history of Sri Lanka. According to the history it has been started in 05th century. There many tremendous Buddhist painting still remaining in this temple. With the facts this temple built by King Vijayabahu and there is an image house with many paintings and it is a good opportunity to observe the historical facts. There are many archeological facts which related to many kingdoms of Sri Lanka can be spotted in this temple.
