This village pub is popular with the locals for eating and drinking...make sure you book to get a table! Their gin and ale festivals are a lot of fun and on occasion they have live bands performing. Head to www.prestongateinn.co.uk to see what's going on. It's a nice walk from here...follow the hut's map for a mostly off road walk through the site of the Battle of Stamford Hill site.
