The Munda Biddi Trail, like the majority of the 12 purpose-built overnight facilities along it's route, is named in the language of the traditional custodians of the country through which it winds it way for 1000km between Mundaring on the eastern outskirts of Perth and Albany on the south coast. The English translation of the Noongar 'Munda Biddi' is 'path through the forest'. The Trail traverses many parks of the Experience Perth and Australia's South West regions via a mix of purpose-built single track (wide enough for just one bike) and existing and rehabilitated-for-cycles former forest tracks.
