A lovely place to park, to look at the views of the sea, Puffin Island, and the hills behind the village. Great to get a cuppa too.
Traeth Llanfairfechan beach (15 min drive, 1hr 30min walk), once at this beach if you keeping walking you will reach Glan Y Mor Elias - a nature reserve.
Llanfairfechan beach is mainly pebble beach when the tide is in but as it drops away a wide open stretch of sand is revealed. The beach here is backed by the Victorian seaside town of Llanfairfechan, which is overlooked by the 434m high Penmaenmawr mountain. A promenade with a pavilion provides a cafe and summer entertainment, while a dinghy park makes this beach popular with sailors. The beach is also a good spot for fishing and, a little further down the coast, birdwatching.
