Another James Beard finalist, Chef John Cuevas, has made Boise his home and is sharing his unique, upscale take on Mexican style cuisine. Chips are homemade and hot and fresh. Guacamole is luscious and balanced. My favorites are the Mushroom taco and the ‘only on Wednesday’, OG Crispy. (Can you say Double Decker taco on steroids?) Don’t walk- run. (Pro tip- ask for extra crema and hot sauce. 😉)

This is the place to go if you want tacos with creative, unique flavors. James Beard nominated chef. Definitely a higher price point for tacos but it will probably be unlike an other you've tried. Good outdoor seating and also very close to Lost Grove Brewery.

There are many street taco places and you should definitely go to one. This is not your typical taco place. My favorite? Braised Short Rib or Ensenada Fish.
