They don't call it "The Palace on the Prarie" for nothing. Experience the rich history of E.W. Marland while touring the beautiful, historic mansion. The story of E.W. Marland and his step daughter (and eventual wife) is too good to miss.

Travel about 42 miles north and you won't feel like you're in Oklahoma anymore, Toto! ;) Step back in time to the wealth the oil boom had to offer. This 40,000+ sq ft mansion located in Ponca City, will take your breath away! My favorite part is the kitchen, it is crazy how small it was, BUT it had one of the first ice boxes! Super cool visit, even the grounds are beautiful. I highly recommend the guided tour because E.W.'s story is very interesting, to say the least! Grab a taco burger at Taco Stop (downtown)- tell Cory and Angie that Carmen sent you! OR sit down to some Mexican food, including homemade chips, at Enrique's and watch the planes fly in at the airport. Rather have a steak? The Rusty Barrell is beloved for its steaks- yep, the entrance is in an alley! Just want coffee? PC Provisions is the spot.
