Perfect for a nice walk or for bird watching. You can also see 10 of the biggest Douglas fir trees in the province.

A saltwater lagoon located at the base of the Royal Roads property, next to the Fort Rodd Hill / Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites and a view across Esquimalt Harbour at Dockyard. A migratory bird sanctuary where you could watch crows and seagulls will be prowling around looking for shellfish which they will pick up and drop from a height in order to crack the shells.

This place is perfect for birdwatching, taking photos, or simply relaxing by the beach. If you plan to have a picnic, it's best to bring your own picnic mat.
